1. Who is JAN?
The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is the nation’s foremost
provider of workplace accommodation technical assistance, and promote
the hiring, retention, and career advancement of people with disabilities.
JAN has assisted employers, individuals with disabilities, and
rehabilitation professionals since 1983.
2. Who is the audience?
The conference is designed for employers but is quite useful for
people who work with both employers and people with disabilities.
The 2006 conference united more than 300 human resource managers,
compliance officers, disability program managers, and other
professionals from 41 states, DC, Australia, and Canada,.
Forty-one percent of the participants were from the public
sector, 18 percent were with private employers, and
39 percent
were
service providers.
3. How will sponsorship be administered?
Sponsorships will be administered through the West Virginia
University Research Corporation, a 501 (c) (3) organization.

Payment of sponsorship is required before recognition will
be placed on the JAN Conference Web site, proceedings, and
signage.
