Bob Haber has been employed with Hyatt Hotels for 19 years. He has performed in several exempt-level management positions at four different properties. His current position is the Director of Human Resources at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida. His hotel employs over 450 people.

Bob attended St. Petersburg College for Business Administration and Management and currently holds the Professional in Human Resources designation (PHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute. During his career he obtained his teacher certification with Sarasota County Schools, began and facilitated an Academy of Hospitality class for at-risk high school students in a classroom that was held on hotel property. Bob is also a designated facilitator for Hyatt Hotels and travels to other properties training managers in Diversity, Workplace Values and Ethics. His hotel has been recognized for it’s efforts by The Able Trust, the Mayor’s Alliance for Persons with Disabilities in 1990 and 2000. In 2001 the Florida Governor’s Alliance for Persons with Disabilities recognized Hyatt Hotels of Florida as the Large Employer of the Year.
