Marthalee Galeota works in the Global Diversity and Inclusion Office at Starbucks corporate office. As a senior diversity specialist, Marthalee leads disability and accessibility initiatives. Prior to joining Starbucks, Marthalee worked in the rehabilitation field designing and managing programs for a range of people with disabilities. She was instrumental in the creation of the Deaf-Blind Service Center the first of its kind in the nation and the first video interpreting service in Seattle. She is also a certified sign language interpreter with a masters degree in counseling psychology.
