Jane Rath
EARN Program Director Ms. Rath is a Prinicpal with Cherry Engineering Support Services, Inc – a Washington-based consulting firm providing a range of information technology and disability related services to the Federal government. She has over 25 years of professional experience including over 15 years providing consultative expertise to federal disability-related programs and initiatives. An entrepreneurial inclination and foundation in economics and business has served her through a wide range of activities – including serving as the League Administrator for the first women’s professional basketball league in the late 70’s. Leaving the world of sports, Ms. Rath provided consulting expertise to a number of Fortune 500 companies prior to becoming a Federal consultant focusing on disability-related programs and initiatives. Her experience with Federal programs includes start-up support to the Department of Defense Computer Electronic Accommodations Program, the Department of Agriculture TARGET Center, Social Security Administration’s Project RSVP (the precursor to the Ticket to Work program), and a variety of other assistive technology and disability employment related programs and studies. Currently, Ms. Rath serves as the Project Director for EARN, a recruiting service operated under contract to the Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy. In this capacity, Ms. Rath oversees project operations, service delivery, quality control and evaluation, and marketing and outreach to both the employer and recruiting professional communities. |
