Training from the Job Accommodation Network |
Mandy Gamble is a Human Factors Consultant for the Job Accommodation Network (JAN). She is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Vocational Evaluation. Mandy is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program at WVU.
As a consultant with JAN since 1998, Mandy provides information and referral services regarding accommodation ideas for people with disabilities in the workplace. She consults with employers, rehabilitation specialists and people with disabilities about accommodating individuals with all types of disabilities and also provides technical assistance regarding the employment provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Mandy specializes in providing accommodation information for individuals with sensory, immunology and endocrinology related limitations such as vision impairment, hearing impairment, HIV/AIDS and diabetes as well as other sensory related disabilities.
Mandy serves as a national speaker for JAN providing information regarding job accommodation practices and the employment related federal equal rights requirements of the ADA and the Rehabilitation Act. She has also served as an instructor for the Job Accommodation graduate course offered through the Rehabilitation Counseling Graduate Program at West Virginia University (WVU).
Mandy spends much of her time focusing on her MBA coursework, which she expects to complete in May 2002. She enjoys dining at new restaurants trying diverse cuisine, hiking, and traveling.
