Enter JAN's world of accommodating individuals with upper, lower, and full body motor impairments. This open forum session introduces participants to JAN's motor team consultants. The consultants will address office, industry, and service situations and solutions.

Consultants will describe the informal process they use to determine accommodation suggestions starting with a need assessment, evaluating functional limitations and essential job functions, and concluding with determining effective accommodations.

Participants will also discuss ADA issues common in accommodating individuals with motor impairments including:

• Direct threat,
• Undue hardship,
• Performance standards, and
• Essential functions.

A question and answer session will conclude the presentation.
